Ellis - Van Pelt is a 3rd generation family-owned business in Tampa, FL with roots in the warehousing and materials handling equipment industry.

Over the years we have witnessed many changes both in the products we sell and the many locations from which we have operated. Ellis - Van Pelt is a new and used office furniture, lockers, shelving and materials handling equipment company.

In 1997 we purchased the Historic Antonio Santaella Cigar Factory, a 52,000 sq ft building in the West Tampa area of Tampa, FL. We began doing business out of the first floor and basement of the factory.  We soon began leasing space on the upper two floors to local artists and small businesses and continued that practice until we sold the building in 2018. 

For nearly three quarters of a century, Ellis - Van Pelt has been a fixture of the Central Florida community. Founded first as a materials handling equipment business then expanding into office furniture, our highest priority has always been the top-notch service our customers deserve.

In 2005 we purchased Brandon Restaurant Supply, a new and used food service equipment dealer. In 2009 it began operating as the restaurant division of Ellis - Van Pelt, thus adding another dimension to EVP's ever growing footprint.
